Brian Fuentes has been lights out as the closer of the Colorado Rockies
Veteran lefty Brian Fuentes is back in his old role as closer for the Rockies and he is dominating this year. He has pitched in 31 games (0 starts) for the Rockies this year and he is 1-2 with 11 saves, a 2.20 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP. Fuentes never should have lost his job as the closer last year while he was hurt. But, he snapped the job right back from Manny Corpas who has been pretty bad so far this season. Look for him to continue to dominate this season for the Rockies.
